The longest word in Italian is “esofagodermatodigiunoplastica” (29 letters!), a complex reconstructive surgery after the removal of stomach and esophagus. A better-known (very long) word is “precipitevolissimevolmente”, which means very fast, though it has “only” 26 letters.
