About me
I’ve started my career in an international organisation. The nature of my work has been very diverse. First, as part of CERN’s Communication group, I developed content for the Organization’s heterogeneous internal audience, and then in CERN’s Safety Training section of the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Unit, where I was responsible for the full safety training portfolio.
I’ve been working as an independent consultant since 2017. I’ve worked for Swiss and International Companies and Organisations, such as Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV), University Hospital Zurich (USZ), Institut de Radiophysique (IRA), and the European Spallation Source (ESS).
Since 2019 I am enrolled in the Master of Science in Learning and Teaching Technologies (MALTT) at the Geneva University.

SERVICES
NEED ANALYSIS
In this phase I’ll help you analyse training needs, learners’ profile, learning approach, technology, all according to your branding strategy.
E-LEARNING MODULES
Development of e-learning modules: interactive, simple and explanatory. Professional development activities, provided to train your employees on specific aspects of their job processes or responsibilities.
TRAINING PROGRAMS
Development of learning objectives, design of training materials (online and for face-to-face learning); implementation in your LMS.
LEARNING SCENARIOS & STOARYBOARDS
INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS
Development of instructional videos to demonstrate processes, transfer knowledge, explain concepts, or show your trainees how to do something. Examples of instructional videos are micro videos, tutorials and training videos, explainer videos, and screencast.
MOODLE
Installation and configuration of Moodle, the world’s most popular open source Learning Management System. Moodle can be used for flipped classrooms, blended learning, distance learning, in all sectors of learning, training and education.
PRESENTATIONS
Re-design your existing presentation or create a new one based on your notes, sketches, images or descriptions. I can add visual enhancements, background images and other graphics. Design a PowerPoint template with master slides exactly as you need, incorporating brand identity, logo and other elements.
WEB DESIGN/UX DESIGN
Whether your small business needs a simple website refresh or a new project, I can help. We can build together a user center platform that will provide meaningful and relevant experiences to your users. Included services: need analysis, development of personas and user journeys, user tests, site mock-ups, website architecture.
SCIENCE COMMUNICATION
When it comes to science, the struggle for attention gets harder by the day. I can help you explain what you do, and engage with your audience.
METHODOLOGY
Analysis
In this phase we’ll work together to perform the analysis of your needs, of your course’s target audience, and the possible constraints to the project
Learning design
We’ll be defining the learning objective(s), elaborate the pedagogical scenario, and create the course storyboard
Development
In this phase the training material is developed, tested, reviewed and after a series of iterations it is validated and implemented
Evaluation
At the end of the process, an evaluation of the training course is performed

I developed a series of online modules on safety in the workplace.
Fellow- HSE Unit
I was responsible for the full safety training portfolio. I designed courses, flyers, and all related training materials. I worked with Subject Matter Experts to identify key messages and turn them into learning objectives. I wrote articles in the CERN Bulletin to promote the activities of the safety training section. I was part of a working group to develop a communication strategy for the HSE Unit.

Master of Science in Learning and Teaching Technologies
Currently a second year student in the Master of Science in Learning and Teaching Technology (MALTT) at the University of Geneva. Dedicated to educational technologies, the Master focuses on setting up and auditing e-learning systems, conceiving and designing learning environments, managing multimedia educational projects, developing serious games and UX/UI centred platforms.
Master of Science Communication
I obtained a Master in Science Communication (Department of Physics and Astronomy) of the Faculty of Science of the University of Padova (Italy), with a final thesis focusing on the use of videos for science communication.
BACHELOR DEGREE IN ASTRONOMY
I obtained a Bachelor in Astronomiy (Department of Physics and Astronomy) of the Faculty of Science of the University of Bologna (Italy). My bachelor thesis (in History of Astronomy) focused on the role of planet Venus in Mesoamerican Astronomy.
